So, Doctor Steve…
The podcast was the first time I heard anybody else use the term “..smell like an old Italian man…”
I tell my wife at times ” I smell like an old an old Italian man, or I smell like my Grandpa ”
(who was an old Italian, well, Sicilian man)
Though in my context it is more about sweat, garlic, and cigars than too much cologne!
Always enjoy the podcasts, keep them coming!

Hahaha. Glad you like our sense of humor on the podcasts. Gangemi, as you probably know, is Sicilian. 🙂

HI Soc doc I need some advice..
ive worn orthotics all my life and have recently stopped wearing them to hopefully get to the point of being barefoot or wearing minmalist shoes in comfort. The reason for the change is ive had injuries all my life and a few months ago had a knee arthroscopy becausr I had broken cartilage and the back of my knee cap was eroded. 4months on, while I can fully flex my knee its still not 100% healed and I cant attempt sport yet. I have regularly been using the pressure points to relieve pain in my foot arch and also have stopped static stretching. What can I do to improve my situation to recover from my surgery and also hopefully to be comfortable in barefoot?

Hi David – something like this really needs to be seen by a qualified doc/therapist or we can set up a consult. It’s just not a simple answer. Thanks.
